David J. Smith is a career coach and the president of the Forage Center
for Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Education. He teaches at the School
for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University and was
a U.S. Fulbright Scholar teaching ADR and peace studies. He is a
recipient of the William Kreidler Award for Distinguished Service to the
Field of Conflict Resolution, and the author of Peace Jobs: A Student’s
Guide to Starting a Career Working for Peace (IAP 2016).
